Petrol Car are meant to be driven, so even good ones should be maintained regularly. So how should car owners maintain their Petrol Car? Auto repair experts recommend the following aspects.
Roewe Car tires have an "aging" factor. A brand new tire will age even if it is stored for more than four years, because the main material of the tire is rubber. The characteristic of rubber is that it will age after being used or left for a long time. Aging tires that are used too lightly will affect the performance of the vehicle, and tire blowout accidents can be life-threatening. The production date of a tire is easy to identify. There is a string of 4-digit numbers near the wheel hub. The first two digits indicate the week of production, and the last two digits indicate the year of production. If the car owner wants to replace the tires, the production date must be clearly visible when selecting the tires.
In addition, car owners must not be blind when upgrading tires, otherwise it will cause safety hazards. After the tire size is determined, tires with the same pattern should be selected to ensure the safe use of the upgraded vehicle. If the wear degree, structure and specifications of the tires are inconsistent, it will not only affect the service life of the tires, but more importantly, it will cause inconsistent braking resistance of Petrol Car. When a Roewe Car needs to brake suddenly at high speed, the different resistances of the tires will cause uneven stress on the four wheels, which can easily cause the vehicle to lose control and cause a traffic accident. It should be noted that when upgrading tires, it is best to replace four tires at the same time. If it cannot be replaced at the same time, at least keep the left and right tires consistent to avoid sideslip due to different friction between the left and right tires during sudden braking.
1. Use lubricating oil of appropriate quality grade. For gasoline engines, SD-SF gasoline engine oil should be selected based on the additional devices and usage conditions of the intake and exhaust systems; CB-CD diesel engine oil should be selected based on the mechanical load of the diesel engine, and the selection standards should not be lower than the requirements specified by the manufacturer.
2. Replace engine oil and filter elements regularly. The quality of lubricating oil of any quality grade will change during use. In order to avoid malfunction, the engine oil should be replaced regularly according to the usage conditions, and the oil amount should be moderate.
3. Keep the crankcase well ventilated. At present, most gasoline engines are equipped with a forced crankcase ventilation valve, but pollutants in the blow-by gas will be deposited around the forced crankcase ventilation valve, which may block the valve. Therefore, contaminants around the PCV valve circumference should be cleaned regularly.
4. Clean the crankcase regularly. During engine operation, high-pressure unburned gas, acid, moisture, sulfur and nitrogen oxides in the combustion chamber enter the crankcase through the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall, and mix with metal powder produced by parts wear to form sludge. Therefore, the crankcase should be cleaned regularly to keep the inside of the engine clean.
5. Regularly clean the fuel system to control the formation of carbon deposits and keep the engine in optimal condition.
6. Rust and scaling of engine water tanks are common problems. Rust and scale can restrict the flow of coolant in the cooling system, reduce heat dissipation, and cause the engine to overheat or even be damaged. Therefore, the water tank should be cleaned regularly to remove rust and scale.
7. Three filters: The maintenance of the three filters refers to the air filter, oil filter and gasoline filter. The three filters play the role of filtering the air, oil and gasoline in the Roewe Car engine, thereby protecting the engine and improving the engine's working efficiency.
